Started my entrepreneurial journey by building Chillax, a mobile app social network for teenager.  Worked 15 hours a week on all aspects of designing and building a mobile app.

Built my second mobile app, AidMaid, for emergencies.

Pitched to investors and secured $200,000 in seed funding.




Played an advisory role at Smiles.org, an initiative led by teenagers to support refugees and poor people in Jordan.

Mentored high schools on entrepreneurship at the MIT Launch Program.

2014 – 2016 Regularly blogged and shared my experience as an entrepreneur through a Facebook page I created (with over 2000 likes).

Extracurricular Activities

  • Held a workshop for underprivileged youth in a high crime neighborhoods in Amman, Jordan in collaboration with Ruwwad for Social Empowerment.
  • Created the Entrepreneurship Club at school, which met for one hour once a week.  Shared my knowledge on startups and coached participants from ideas inception to product launch.
  • Served as Vice President of the Green Team, an environmental club that aims to raise awareness of sustainable development and the threats our Earth faces.
  • Delegate at the Model United Nations in Qatar to negotiate how working conditions can be improved for workers.
  • Founded an entrepreneurship club at school to share my knowledge and experience with students.
  • Served on the Student Council as “Liaison” and my Video for Student council campaign hit over one million views on Youtube.
  • Nominated for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
  • Spoke at RiseUp Summit, one of the largest conferences in the Middle East, about the lessons I learned from my first startup’s failure.
  • Organized a debate club to teach students how to communicate with others, express their opinion and be leaders. Posted several lectures about leadership on Youtube.
  • I received the International Award as I embarked on a challenging hiking journey in the Swiss Alps.
  • My story has been covered by Forbes, Entrepreneur, Wamda, Arabian Business and Aliqtisadi.
